This project aimed to introduce us to ways of exploring studio lighting through the use of harsh lighting, cutters, reflectors and gels. I experimented with lighting and its effect on the human form including how to analyse lighting to be able to recreate set ups and mood for portraiture. I had to consider the direction, quality and quantity of light as well as the composition including the framing, distance and angle of view to create unique photographs.
